Owner : Tim Jackson

I have been involved in the travel and hospitality industry in Cape Town for over 25 years.

Chelsea Travel opened in Wynberg, Cape Town in 1992 and 16 years later still has an enviable reputation as a respected and well liked retail travel agency.

Our motto "Customers trust us because they know we care" says it all.

Over the past 18 years we have seen good growth in the company. In spite of enormous changes and testing times in the industry in recent years I'm happy to see the company still going from strength to strength. I put it down to a great bunch of co-workers.

Being part of such a dynamic industry requires keeping a finger on the pulse. One thing you can be sure of in this industry is CHANGE! The Internet, service fees, etc requires all of us to "keep tabs" on what's happening out there. All challenging and exciting, I love being part of it!

Senior Consultant : Natalie Kleintjies
I have been with Chelsea Travel since May 1996. Through those years, I have grown with the company and broadened my knowledge in all aspects of travel. Being a senior consultant in this day and age, it is a very rewarding experience when clients expectations are exceeded. Therefore, I love being a consultant, and have been very fortunate to travel to a range of destinations, such as Malawi, Namibia, Mauritius, Comores, Bali, Hong Kong, London, Berlin, Thailand, Singapore, Bintan in Indonesia, Australia, Paris, Canada, Malaysia as well as Cruising in the East.

I studied Tourism at Cape Technikon for 3 years; joined the Travel Industry in 1994 and have loved every minute of it. It is very rewarding when you are able to exceed your client's travel expectations. I have also been very fortunate to have visited the U.K, Belgium, Hungary, the U.S.A, Mauritius and Namibia.

Senior Consultant : B-J Klein

I started in this crazy industry 30 years ago and have worked for airlines and a number of retail agencies in Cape Town. Among the many places I have visited are Alaska, Finland, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand but have only recently started exploring Southern Africa, which has now become my passion! In the last few years I have been privileged to experience the Serengeti and the Okavango Delta as well as a number of our own country's wonderful game reserves and lodges.

I am very privileged to be part of a very happy and experienced team at Chelsea Travel.

I have been in travel for fourteen years, having come from a banking background, and have travelled to Mauritius, Seychelles, Reunion, Switzerland, Holland, France, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Egypt, New Zealand and Australia as well as large parts of South Africa.

I am passionate about travel and helping people fulfil their travel dreams and expectations.

Senior Consultant : Diane le Roux

I have been with Chelsea Travel since August 2000, and have travelled to the Kruger National Park, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius and London. I enjoy nothing more than assisting people with their corporate and leisure travel arrangements. This includes: flight, car hire, rail, cruise, hotel as well as coach bookings. It is a very rewarding experience when a client's travel dreams are achieved and their travel expectations exceeded. The travel industry is very challenging and exciting.

Accounts & Administration : Dedre Davids

I entered the world of travel in 1999, not knowing what an air ticket looked like. I was lucky to get the opportunity to make a career, study part time and grow so much that I now confidently run an accounts office. I joined Chelsea Travel and immediately knew this is where I want to be, in an office with dedicated and professional staff.
